The Austin girls swimming and diving team took eighth at the Big Nine Invite in Rochester Saturday.

The Packers finished with a team score of 161, while Rochester John Marshall won the meet with a score of 434.

The 200-yard medley relay team of Brooke Johnson, Kelli Bednar, and Helen Heimark swam a season’s best time to take fifth.

Splinter took third in the 50-yard freestyle, Heimark took fifth in the 200-yard freestyle, Johnson took sixth in the 100-yard backstroke
