Brittney Auringer and Brendon Plowe

Sandra and Mark Auringer of Austin announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittney Auringer, to Brendon Plowe, son of Terrie and Steve Plowe of Crystal Falls, Mich.

Brittney is a 2004 graduate of Austin High and a 2008 graduate of Carthage College with a degree in Education.

Brendon is a 2001 graduate of Crystal Falls Forest Park and a 2006 graduate of Carthage College, also completing a degree in Education. Both are currently employed with Mahone Middle School.

An Aug. 20, 2011 wedding is planned in Austin. Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Kenosha, Wis.
