Connie Marie Culton, 54, of Austin died Monday, Nov. 15, at her home.

Connie was born Jan. 27, 1956 in Austin, the daughter of Vaughan and Shirley (Smith) Smalley. She attended Austin Public Schools and was married to Julius Durham; they later divorced. Connie worked as a nursing assistant at Primrose in Austin. She was married to Timothy C. Culton on May 29, 1999, in Hollandale.

Connie is survived by her husband, Timothy of Austin; son, Charles Durham, Austin; grandchildren: Logan, Lucas, Micah; brothers and sisters: Ronald (Janice) Smalley, Austin; Alvin Smalley, Austin; Gary Smalley, Minnesota Lake; Debbie (Kevin) Mott, Waconia; Nancy (David) DeGroot, Nashville, Tenn; nephews; mother-in-law, DeVonna Culton, Austin; brother-in-law, Wayne Culton, Austin and sister-in-law, Joan Czech, Austin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mark.

A memorial service will be held at 1p.m. Friday Nov. 19 at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend William Bankester officiating. Friends may greet the family for one hour before the service on Friday.
