Bruins top Coulee Region 4-3

Despite only attempting about half as many shots as Coulee Region, the Austin Bruins were able to pull off a 4-3 win in Onalaska Friday.
Charlie Adams and Austin Nelson each scored in the first three minutes of the third period to give the Bruins (17-10-3 overall) a 4-2 lead they would hold on to.
Nelson, who is from Hastings, Minn., also scored in the second period to make it 2-0.
The Chill (11-16-4 overall) shot Austin 40-21 on the night.
The Bruins were out-shot 12-5 in the first period, but Jeremy Finger put Austin up 1-0 on its third shot of the night.
The Chill didn’t score until their 23rd shot of the night when James Hughes made scored to pull his team within 2-1 early in the second period.
Tyler Bruggeman stopped 37 shots to pick up the win for Austin.
Austin will host the Chill at Riverside Arena Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
