The Austin Public School board is getting ready for the new year with some new school board members.

Incoming members Angie Goetz and Greg Larson will be sworn in Thursday, Jan. 5 at the board’s first special session meeting of 2012.

The board will also do some housecleaning. Board members will elect a new chairperson and officers. They will also assign board members to various committees for 2012 as well.
