Hayfield girls top Blooming Prairie

The Hayfield girls basketball team forced 27 turnovers as it handed Blooming Prairie its fourth straight loss by a score of 56-42 in Hayfield Tuesday.

The Vikings (5-6 overall) turned up the pace in the second half as Abby Blanchard led the way with 13 points.

“We pressed them pretty hard in the second half and we got a lot of lay-ups after a slow and lethargic first half,” Hayfield head coach Fred Kindschy said.

Jenna Krell had five points, six rebounds and four assists for BP (3-7 overall).
