The Southland girls basketball team picked up their first win over Caledonia (9-3 overall) in over a decade when they won 72-51 in Adams Thursday.
The Rebels (7-1 overall, 4-1 Three Rivers) led throughout as they got the job done on the defensive side of the court.
“It was probably our best defensive rebounding game of the season,” Southland head coach Bob Sheehan said. “We forced them to one and dones and then we got up and down the floor. This is a big confidence booster for us.”
