Fast Frame in Lyle is hosting an art contest for kids, encouraging children ages 6 through 10 to create a piece of art based on the theme “My Favorite Place.”

From now through Nov. 14, Fast Frame will be accepting artwork for the contest. A first and second place will be chosen from among the entries, and both pieces will be framed for free. The second place winner’s work will be displayed in the store, while the first place winner will be sent off to the Fast Frame corporate office in Newbury Park, Calif. to be judged in the national contest.

The national winning artist will receive a $250 gift card for art supplies, with an additional $250 gift card going to his or her school. In addition, the national winning piece will be displayed on the home page of the corporate Web site for the month of January 2010.
