Michelle Towne, daughter of Dana and Richard Towne and granddaughter of Elaine Towne and the late Richard Towne and Daniel McDaniels and the late Margaret (Peggy) McDaniels all of Rapid City, S.D., announces her engagement to Philip Heins, son of Karen and Dan Heins of Austin and grandson of Francis Heins and the late Dallas Heins of Frontenac and Lucille Jorgensen and the late Everette Jorgensen of Weyauwega, Wis..

Michelle is a 2003 graduate of Rapid City Central and a 2007 graduate of

S.D. School of Mines and Technology with a degree in Business Administration. She is currently employed as an Executive Assistant with 7th Circuit CASA Program

Philip is a 2004 graduate of Austin High School and is a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force.

A Sept. 10, 2011, wedding is planned at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Rochester. Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Rapid City, S.D.
