Kirsten Anderson, daughter of Sandy and Kevin Anderson of Austin announces her engagement to Ryan Schmidt, son of Teresa and Jerry Schmidt of Prairie du Chein, Wis..

Kirsten is a 2006 graduate of Austin High School and is currently attending the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Kirsten will graduate in Dec. 2010 with a degree in Community Health Education.

Ryan has graduated from River Ridge High School in 2005 and Trinity International University in 2009, majoring in Psychology. Ryan is employed as a Behviorial Therapist at Partner’s in Excellence.

A Jan. 8, 2011 wedding is planned here in Austin at the First United Methodist Church. The couple will reside in La Crescent following the wedding.
