MINNEAPOLIS — Scooters, Segways, all-terrain vehicles, shotguns and luxury watches are among Denny Hecker’s belongings to be auctioned off to the highest bidder later this month.

During a hearing in U.S. Bankruptcy Court Wednesday, a judge ordered the goods to be sold. The man who once owned 26 car dealerships and other businesses is in jail awaiting sentencing for bankruptcy fraud and defrauding Chrysler Financial of nearly $14 million.

Previous auctions have raised $500,000 for Hecker’s estate. An auction house from New Germany will handle the Dec. 11 and Dec. 16 auctions.

Also, bankruptcy Judge Robert Kressel gave Hecker’s girlfriend, Christi Rowan, until Tuesday to provide an accounting of how she spent Hecker’s insurance proceeds. The Star Tribune says an angry Kressel admonished Rowan for failing to comply with a previous order.
