The Hayfield boys basketball team had a four-game winning streak snapped when it lost to Kasson-Mantorville (8-4 overall, 2-1 HVL Gold) 55-45 in Kasson Tuesday.

The Vikings (10-4, 4-1 HVL Gold overall) trailed 12-6 with eight minutes to go in the first half and they struggled to find their offense as 1,000 point scorer Bobbie Stephens was held to just three field goal attempts.

“They got off to a good start and we just didn’t score,” Hayfield head coach Chris Pack said. “We missed a ton of lay-ups.”
