The Austin girls tennis fell to Mankato East 6-1 on the road Tuesday.

The Packers (5-9 overall, 1-5 Big Nine) only win came from the No. 3 doubles team of Alex Larson and Emily Sundal.

“No one hates to lose more than I do so we will go back to the drawing board and figure a way to finish the season strong,” Austin head coach Thomas Tauchnitz said. “I’m gonna shake things up in the line up and kids are going to be playing different spots to try to get a few wins. We will continue to play hard and find a way to win.”
