The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team edged out Triton (0-2 overall) 35-33 on the road Friday.

BP (1-1 overall) trailed 17-14 at the break, but it got an offensive boost from sophomore guard Janelle Morem, who scored 12 points and hit two threes.

The Cobras missed 14 of 19 free throws.
