The Southland girls basketball team lost to Kingsland (5-1 overall) 64-58 in Adams Tuesday.

The Rebels (3-1 overall, 0-1 Three Rivers) trailed 39-29 at the half, but they rallied to take a four-point lead with about eight minutes left.

“It was a physical game and our girls weren’t ready for it early on,” Southland head coach Bob Sheehan said. “In the second half it got more physical and we played a lot better, but we ran out of gas.”
