The Riverland women’s basketball team beat Luther JV 75-54 in Riverland Gym Tuesday.

The Blue Devils (5-4 overall) took a 40-25 lead to the break after Krissy Schemmel hit all four of her first half shots, including three three-pointers.

RCC shot lights out as a team as it hit 53 percent of its field goals, 64 percent of its threes and 80 percent of its free throws in the win.

Krista Viehauser led the Blue Devils with 22 points and nine rebounds.

Viehauser has been chosen the MCAC South women’s basketball player of the week for the last two weeks.
