A stray cat that attacked an Adams teenager Tuesday was found Wednesday and killed for a rabies test a day later.
Emily Williamson, 18, suffered hand and leg injuries when the cat lashed out at her while she was leaning down to feed it, according to a sheriff’s report. The incident occurred at Williamson’s 310 Lincoln St. home.
Williamson was looked at by medical personnel after the incident but said she would go to Austin Medical Center on her own to get checked.
The report does not indicate exactly how severe the injuries were.
The results of the rabies test had not come back as of Friday morning.
