The Hayfield boys basketball team beat Blue Earth (4-7 overall) 69-46 in Hayfield Saturday.

Hayfield’s Brady Kramer had seven rebounds and he scored 18 of his 20 points in the second half and Cole Kruger scored 17 of his 19 points in the game’s first 11 minutes as the Vikings (12-4 overall) led throughout.

Hayfield survived some foul trouble in the first half as four starters had two fouls with seven minutes to go.

“We had four bench guys out there and we maintained our lead,” Hayfield head coach Chris Pack said. “That was pretty big.”
