Missed free throws caught up to the Riverland men’s basketball team in a 79-77 loss at Hibbing Friday.

The Blue Devils (4-6 overall) missed 15 free throws, while Hibbing hit 20 of its 30 attempts from the line.

“The name of the game was free throw shooting and we shot them horribly,” RCC head coach Dan Swift said.

The Blue Devils led 38-31 at the half.
