The Southland boys basketball team couldn’t hang on to possession and it cost them in an 88-44 at No. 1 ranked Plainview/Elgin/Millville (4-0 overall) Tuesday.

The Rebels (0-4 overall) committed 18 first half turnovers as they trailed 58-26 at the break.

“They put on a clinic on getting turnovers that led to easy buckets,” Southland head coach Jon Thalberg said. “We did pretty good in the half court game, but they’ve got quick hands and they can tip it and get up the floor.”
