Police say what started as a burglary in Lyle Thursday night possibly turned into several vehicle break-ins and at least two reported stolen vehicles in the Brownsdale area.

Sheriff Terese Amazi said one of the stolen vehicles was recovered in Brownsdale and another was found in a ditch near the Lake Geo Travel Plaza in Dexter.

Amazi said deputies are still taking reports on vehicles that were broken into over the night. The incident occurred sometime after 9 p.m.

More information should be available by the end of the day Friday, Amazi said.
