The LeRoy-Ostrander boys basketball team just missed out on getting their first conference win of the year when they let a late lead slip away in a 59-55 loss to Schaeffer Academy (5-9 overall, 4-7 SEC) in LeRoy Thursday.

The Cardinals (1-17 overall, 0-12 SEC) led 31-25 at the break and they held that lead until three minutes left in the game as they struggled with turnovers and Schaeffer took over.
