Rumpza leads BP boys to a win over JWP

BLOOMING PRAIRIE — The Awesome Blossoms avenged an earlier loss to Janseville-Waldorf-Pemberton (5-14 overall, 4-9 Gopher) when they won 46-41 in BP Friday.
The game was tied at the half and BP (9-11 overall, 5-7 Gopher) went on to lead by as many as 11 in the second half.
“We could have done some things better in the last five minutes, but our defensive intensity never let up,” BP head coach John Bruns said.
BP freshman John Rumpza had 18 points and 21 rebounds in the win.
