He is survived by his wife, Marian, Austin, Minn.; daughter, Teressa Cruickshank, (John), Son Marc, both of Monifieth, Dundee Scotland; stepchildren, Lindsay Schulz (Gary), Arlee, Mont., Cory Sessions, Farmington, Minn.; grandchildren; step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren.

Ron served in the British Royal Army and traveled the world in his service to his country. He was a materials manager for Dolphin Titan International and spent many years on oil rig platforms in the Bearing Sea, Baltic Sea, and off the coast of South America to name a few.

Ron hated being away from his wife, Marian, six months out of the year, so he landed a job at Mel Saxtons Austin Ford and became a natural, successful salesman. It was there where he was nicknamed “Scotty” as he was known by his customers, friends and co-workers through the years. After 20 years, he retired. Ron was a kind, generous, loving man. We celebrate his life and give thanks for his time on this earth. We will miss him dearly.

Friends may visit from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, the Devlin residence, 2401 7th Ave. SW. The family requests that memorials be donated to a charity of their choice.
