A developmentally disabled Adams man was found after an hour and a half search Monday night.

The man, 48, disappeared around 3:30 p.m., according to Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi. The man and his father were working a paper route at the time. The man’s father called police at 5:45 p.m. after looking for him.

The man was found unharmed at a nearby house at around 7 p.m., where residents who didn’t know him kept him occupied. Deputies reunited the man with his father at the EMS building in Adams.
