An Austin man faces a felony forgery charge after he was pulled over for drunk driving Sunday.

Ovilio Perez Roblero, 38, appeared in court Tuesday on one count of aggravated forgery and one count of second-degree DWI.

Roblero was pulled over early Sunday when an officer noticed his car swerving across the median.

According to a court complaint, Roblero smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes when approached by the officer.

Roblero said he did not have identification, but the officer found a wallet in the backseat that contained two fraudulent ID cards.

One was for Quality Pork Processors; the other a Missouri state ID. Both were in the name “Miguel Trevino, Jr.”

Roblero was taken to the Mower County Law Enforcement Center. About two hours after being pulled over, he recorded a 0.19 blood-alcohol content. Roblero also admitted that he had gained employment using the alias.

Roblero is in custody and will appear in court again on Aug. 20.
