An Owatonna man lost part of his toe Tuesday at the Mower County Fair when a hot dog stand he co-owns fell on his foot.

Ronald Witt, 41, was attempting to move the stand by kicking at the wheel when the hitch fell and landed on his right big toe, according to a sheriff’s report.

The report did not indicate if Witt was taken by ambulance. The other co-owner said he and Witt are self-insured.
