Hen spent her married years as a homemaker, and what a homemaker she was. Her home was a warm, friendly place constantly filled with her many family and friends. Hen spent many years camping and fishing at Elysian Lake and Round Lake with her family. She also had a love of cooking and baking — fried chicken, pies, cookies and lefse were her specialties. Up until the late-70s, she planted and cultivated a huge garden which always flourished and from which she harvested and canned all of the family vegetables for the year.

Hen was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church and for many, many years was very involved with all the various ladies aide pursuits. Particularly, she worked every year on the Scandinavian Day event and was one of the principal persons who rolled and baked lefse.

In addition to her children, she is survived by 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Archie Hanson; sister, Shirley Saaranen.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Greenameyer Sr.; parents, Archie Sr. and Hattie Hanson; brothers, John and Harry; infant sister, Cherry; sisters, Mildred Saaranen and Katie Burgess; son-in-law, David Sutter; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
