BLOOMING PRAIRIE — The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team lost 58-53 to Mankato Loyola (14-7 overall, 10-5 Gopher) in BP Tuesday.

BP freshman John Rumpza had 16 points and 11 rebounds and Michael Thomas had 18 points, nine rebounds and four steals.

The Awesome Blossoms (10-13 overall, 6-9 Gopher) never trailed by more than six, but they didn’t score in the last two minutes of the game.
