Susan Rae Swanson, 67, formerly of Cottage Grove, died on Feb. 20, 2012, in Arlington Heights, Ill.

She was preceded in death by mother, Lois Brown in 2008; husband, Ronald in 2007; and father, Clifford Brown in 1992.

She is survived by children: Chris (Sneha) Swanson of Sacramento, Calif., and Carolyn (Matt) Bickel of Palatine, Ill.; grandchildren: Celia and Cameron Bickel and Niyam Swanson; and siblings: Carol (John) Gorder of Cuba, Mo., Ross (Melinda) Brown of Orono and Julie (Byron) Jensen of Albert Lea.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 7000 Hinton Ave. S, Cottage Grove. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Family requests donations to ABC Preschool at Crossroads Church in Woodbury or American Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers.
