Riverland’s Zach Bunch and Rebekah Aase were recently named to the All-MCAC Southern Division basketball team.

Aase, a 6-2 freshman from Austin, averaged 14.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.96 blocks per game for the Blue Devil women, while shooting 45 percent from the field and 79 percent from the free throw line.

Bunch, a freshman from Kenosha, Wis., averaged 14.1 points and 3.2 assists per game for the Blue Devil men.

RCC sophomore Robin Arjes, a 2010 Austin grad, was selected as honorable mention to the women’s team.

Arjes averaged 8.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.2 assists per game.
