Want to catch a city meeting but unable to attend? Public access cable channel 16 offers a solution almost every night of the week.
Currently, the channel broadcasts city council Wednesday through Friday at 8 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.
The city planning commission also broadcasts on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m., while the Austin School Board comes on at 5 p.m. on weekends.
Video from the most recent council meeting is also posted on the city’s Web site.
Austin City Administrator Jim Hurm said he wasn’t sure of specific TV viewing statistics for the public meetings.
