The Lyle/Pacelli boys basketball team held on to beat Schaeffer Academy (0-8 overall, 0-8 SEC) 59-46 on the road Thursday.

The Athletics (3-9 overall, 3-4 SEC) led 26-17 and they had three players reach double figures in scoring.

Skylar Meyer led the way with 24 points for L/P, which was missing a couple of players with illnesses.

“It wasn’t the prettiest game, but we played all right and got the win,” L/P head coach Casey Anderson said.
