Austin police are looking for suspects after a business owner reported someone broke into his business Monday.

Police Chief Brian Krueger said officers responded to a breaking and entering report at the 800 block of First Avenue SW Monday night. A business owner came to his shop around 7:30 p.m. and noticed a car parked in an alley behind the business, which he thought odd. The owner heard two windows breaking in the back of the store once he went inside his business.

The owner saw two men get into a dark-colored car, which looked similar to a Chevy Caprice, before driving away. Nothing was taken from the business and only two windows were broken, according to Krueger.

Krueger said the case is a pending investigation.
