ROCHESTER, Minn. — Authorities have attributed the death of a Rochester teen to extreme intoxication.

The Olmsted County Medical Examiner’s Office says 18-year-old Minorum Hong died of acute intoxication in a car where he passed out in January following a party. A friend who slept in the car with Hong says he woke up in the morning and discovered Hong was dead. Hong’s death certificate says it was an accidental death.

Police Capt. Brian Winters says no charges will be filed.
