The Hayfield girls basketball team couldn’t finish the job in a 59-54 overtime loss at Stewartville (13-2 overall) Friday.

Hayfield (10-5 overall, 2-3 HVL Gold) had the ball up two late in the game but it missed two front ends on one-and-one attempts down the stretch.

Dani Wagner poured in a career-high 17 points for Hayfield.
