The Grand Meadow boys basketball team couldn’t get enough offense in a 51-46 loss to Lanesboro (9-4 overall, 6-2 SEC) in GM Friday.
The Superlarks (3-10 overall, 3-6 SEC) had just two players score more than four points in the loss.
Bryce Benson had 15 points, 11 rebounds, seven blocks and three assists and Caleb Leichtnam had 21 points and 14 rebounds for GM.
“Offensively we passed the ball well and finished when we had the chance,” GM head coach Chad Burmester said. “If our guys can continue to focus and build off of this game we should be playing pretty well going into the last half of the season.”
GM scoring: Caleb Leichtnam, 21; Bryce Benson, 15; Ethan Wylde, 4; Dezmon Johnson, 3; Jason Stier, 2; Collin Jacobson, 1; free throws: 55 percent (12-for-22)
