The live segment of “Good Morning America” on Wednesday featuring the AARP/Blue Zones Vitality Project in Albert Lea will be from Brookside Education Center.
Amy McDonough, associate state director of communications with AARP, said community members are welcome to come to the site at about 6:30 a.m.
Parking will be difficult with all of the production equipment, so people should plan to either carpool or park on the street, she said.
People are encouraged to wear their Vitality Project T-shirts if they have them and are welcome to bring homemade signs if they choose. The signs should try to include the name of the project, the name of a walking moai or the name of a walking school bus.
The live shot will take place at 7:30 a.m., rain or shine, she said.
The Vitality Project aims to make Albert Lea residents healthier by making simple changes in their lifestyles.
