Blue Devil baseball team beats Ontario and Dakota College Bottineau

VERO BEACH, FLA. — The Riverland baseball team beat the Ontario Blue Jays 6-2 and topped Dakota College Bottineau 6-1 in Vero Beach, Fla. Wednesday.
The Blue Devils (4-1 overall) jumped out to a 4-0 lead against the Blue Jays after Victor Claudio, a freshman from Guanica, Puerto Rico, belted a two-run homer in the third inning.
Against DCB, Aaron Palmer, a freshman from Brampton, Canada, hit a solo homer to make it 1-0 in the second and Tyler Krekling, a freshman from Hayfield made it 3-0 with a two-run single in the top of the fifth inning.
