Temporary lane closures on Interstate 90 near Austin began Tuesday, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The lane closures on I-90 are in effect west of Turtle Creek and east of Dobbins Creek for approximately three days while crews perform preliminary site surveying.

This marks the beginning of Mn/DOT’s project known as The Bridges of Mower County, which includes the construction of three new bridges on I-90 in Mower County. This project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
