Kathy Wichmann, a financial associate with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans in Austin, received the gold award certificate for quality service and production from the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counselors.

The award, the third-highest production honor given by the organization, recognized Wichmann for life insurance sales.

Wichmann has offices at 1211 Fourth St. NW. She is a member of the Thrivent Financial Two Rivers regional financial office in Rochester. She has served as a Thrivent Financial representative since 2000.

Those holding the Fraternal Insurance Counselor professional designation are required to complete an extensive training course, pass three comprehensive examinations and meet established requirements for fraternal insurance professionals.
