The Austin boys basketball team couldn’t figure out Winona’s defense in a 49-41 loss on the road Friday.

The Winhawks (11-4 overall, 8-2 Big Nine) used a two-three zone to fluster the Packers and force 23 turnovers.

“We had a hard time scoring against their zone and a lot of our turnovers led to easy lay-ups,” Austin head coach Kris Fadness said.
