The Seibel Visitation Center recently lost a federal grant that account for a large amount of its program costs. At Tuesday’s county board meeting, Director Heather Steinkamp will ask permission to apply for grants to reinstate that funding.
“It’s a huge amount of money,” Oscarson said of the grant the center lost.
Oscarson said the funds accounted for a significant portion of the center’s budget.
The county board meets starting at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the county board room.
The board will also continue a public hearing to update the Cedar River Watershed District’s 10-year plan.
