Austin police wrote 23 minor consumption tickets Friday night at a local party.

Police Captain Dave McKichan said 10 of the tickets were given to underage adults and 13 to juveniles. Most of the party goers were close to the age of 18, he said.

McKichan said 23 minor citations is quite a few and police rarely bust that many people in one place.

Nobody had been cited for violating the social host ordinance as of Monday morning.
