The Austin Area Art Center in Oak Park Mall invites the public to attend the 24th annual Festival Art Show awards ceremony Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

Three winners from three divisions — Professional, Pro-Am and Amateur — will receive monetary awards for their work.

The City Purchase Award will be presented by Mayor Tom Stiehm at 3 p.m. Aside from judging for the Festival winners, the City of Austin purchases a selected work of art with an Austin theme for $500. The winning artist receives $400 and the Austin Area Art Center, $100.

An array of pies will also be served, including cherry, blueberry, pecan, rhubarb custard, pumpkin and apple. Cost is $4 and includes a slice of pie and a beverage.
