A tree removal site set up to help people clear debris from their lawns is staying open all this week.

Police Chief Paul Philipp said the site, located at Cretex Concrete Products North, Inc. (formerly Elk River Concrete Products), at 11908 14th Street N.E., will be open an extra week, through June 28 instead of June 21. Hours will remain 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., with staff on hand to help.

This disposal site is for yard waste only, Philipp said, and the maximum length for tree limbs is 10 feet.
