BLOOMING PRAIRIE — Hunter Henderson knocked in the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Awesome Blossoms a 5-4 win over Maple River (1-1 overall) in their softball opener in BP Thursday.

Tricia DeBoer scored the winning run for BP (1-0 overall) after she singled and stole second and third base.

BP junior pitcher Shelbi Swenson struck out ten and allowed zero earned runs in 10 innings to get the win.
