Icy roads cited in fatal SW Minnesota crash

STORDEN, Minn. — One person is dead after a car collided head-on with a semi-truck on an icy highway in southwestern Minnesota.
The State Patrol says the crash happened about 8 a.m. Tuesday on Minnesota Highway 30 east of Storden.
The patrol says the driver of a Toyota Corolla that collided with the semi was killed. The name of the victim was not immediately released.
The truck driver was not hurt. The patrol says roads were icy at the time.
The Daily Globe of Worthington reports the highway was shut down for about four hours after the crash.
