Two Blue Devils honored

The Riverland men’s and women’s basketball teams each had one representative on the All-MCAC South basketball teams.

DeAaron Hearn, a 6-2 sophomore guard from Minneapolis, made the men’s team, and Krista Viehauser, a 5-11 sophomore forward from Austin, made the women’s first team.

Viehauser led RCC in points (20.8), rebounds (8.5), and blocks (.7) per game.

She also averaged 2.6 assists and 2.4 steals while hitting 44.3 percent of her field goals and 34 percent of her three-pointers.

Hearn led the Blue Devils with 20.6 points per game and he added 3.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.8 steals per game.
