Alfred W. Puettmann, 78, of Austin, died Monday, Feb. 21, at Austin Medical Center.

Service: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Joe Fogal officiating.

Visitation: There will be a 7 p.m. rosary Friday at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. and also one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.

Interment: Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post 91. Casket bearers will be Christopher Spainhower, Mitchell Spainhower, Johnathan Hayter, Daniel Hawton, Steve Huffman and Ron Puettmann.
